How does a ductless air conditioner work ?
Ductless air conditioners are also referred to as mini-split systems, because the unit is split into two parts: an indoor unit with an evaporator coil, and an outdoor condensing unit. These two parts are connected by copper tubing and electrical wiring that passes through a three inch hole. The indoor section is mounted high on a wall inside which keeps the unit out of your way, and out of your windows. This placement also allows the unit to cool the space more effectively and efficiently.
